The city that is surrounded by water inhabits the beauty of rebuild while demonstrating the essence of power. The people of New Orleans are more than a culture that went through Katrina or speak with a country twang. They are a creation of joy through hardship, a democracy through pain, a laughter mixed "you crazy boy". Walking through the streets an aroma that seeps to your nose forcing you to take a seat on the bench and embrace a cup of gumbo and savoring red beans and rice. The jazz bands paint the airs waves with their brass cymbals and horns while smiling at the artistry. Powder sugar fills the air while crafting up a fresh batch of beignets. The iron work stands signifying that the city was built to last while sharing its aged history. I share with you New Orleans.
